Die polnische Elektro-Queen Soniamiki reist heute abend in Berlin an. Morgen wird sie hier Fotos für das Cover für ihr zweites Album machen. Als Fotografin konnten wir Anja Pietsch gewinnen. Im Herbst erscheint dann das Album, das wieder von Produzent Lukas Leonhard den letzten Schliff erhält.
Seit Freitag ist das neue Slackers-Album "The Radio" (moanin'/Alive) im Plattenladen erhältlich. Für die europäische Ausgabe konnten wir für das Artwork den Ausnahmekünstler A. Hartung (www.ahartung.de) gewinnen. Das Dynamite-Magazin (www.dynamite-magazin.de) wird demnächst ein großes Interview mit den Slackers zur Platte bringen. Das Magazin präsentiert auch die Europar-Tour der weltbesten Skaband, die im April beginnt.

Currently Soniamiki (Electropop, Poland) is recording new stuff at Berlin based Fire Tower Sudio to work together with sound engineer and producer Producer Lukas Leonhard. This time she will combine natural drum sound with electronic beats. So she brought her boy friend Lukasz Lach from famous polish post rock band L.Stadt to Berlin to play drums during the recordings sessions. The new album of Soniamiki will be will of a mostly reduced sound of drums, bass, onyl few synths and her lovely voice. We can tell you, the demos are already awesome with many catchy hooklines. We will release the record in January or February 2012.
Yes indeed. We will release the new Slackers album called "The Radio" in late November or early December. The record is full of exciting cover versions. We are currently working on the art work and mastering. The record will be available in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, BeNeLux, Spain an Portugal at record shops. We are working top cover more territories in Europe. The next Europe tour of the Slackers ist scheduled for April 2012.
